OUR SERVICES

Health care consulting services

We deliver pragmatic solutions and strategies based on market insights and evidence-based academic and business expertise, with a solid understanding of human psychology. Our deliverables may be local or global depending on the brief.

For example: Evaluating investment opportunities, developing global commercialization strategies for new products, managing key research initiatives for our clients.

We apply mindfulness to ourselves at work in order to produce new, different and unexpected solutions for our clients. All our solutions place customers and consumers at the heart.

Health care lecturing and sharing of evidence-based excellence

We offer highly engaging and inspiring in-person and online learning experiences based on evidence, demonstrating what we teach and sharing emerging solutions and strategies with our participants.

For example: Experiential lectures on strategy, innovation, market analysis and mindfulness.

MINDFULNESS AND WELLBEING STRATEGIES

We create and deliver secular mindfulness and wellbeing interventions and strategies. We work with executives, business units and companies, meeting people exactly where they are on the journey. We support them to better connect with themselves and with others in order to contribute to building successful and sustainable businesses. Our mindfulness interventions typically focus on self-awareness, self-compassion, awareness of others, development of pro-social behaviour, resilience and mindful dialogue. These qualities are key for effective leadership and wellbeing in a complex environment and for supporting positive change. All our interventions and strategies are based on evidence.

For example: Creating evidence-based strategies and interventions to support change and corporate wellbeing, creating and delivering customized mindfulness initiatives, facilitating workshops, delivering mindfulness practice sessions.

OUR philosophy

Contributing to addressing challenges in health care ecosystems is what we do, whether on our own or through meaningful partnerships. Our business philosophy is aligned with the beliefs and principles of the Shared Value Initiative, which was launched by Michael Porter and Mark Kramer in 2011 by publishing “Creating Shared Value” in Harvard Business Review. For us, this means focusing on and expanding the connections between societal and economic progress.

OUR VISION
A wiser and more compassionate world

Crafting our mission and vision required gathering input from our existing and potential new clients, thought-leaders across fields and in academia, mentors, colleagues and friends, so we could respond in creative and effective ways to adding value in a more complex and ambiguous world.

What if our world were a wiser and more compassionate place? A place where solving problems and transforming minds allowed small and large businesses to flourish and to add value around the globe.

“Clarity and insight arise in the gap between thoughts and the open grounds of being”

Our CORE VALUES

Conduct our work with rigor

We are dedicated to meeting our mission through delivering high quality, fact-based and cost-effective solutions and initiatives. We uphold these standards through continuous learning, respectfully challenging ourselves and each other, engaging in interdisciplinary and multicultural collaborations and maintaining intellectual humility and rigor.

Conduct our work with integrity

We work with experts in the field who have credentials and real-world experience. Expertise is not automatically gained by the number of years spent working in a particular field. Expertise must be earned and sustained. Some of our experts are young and very talented. All our experts are passionate about what they do.

Make an impact in society

Creating value in a respectful and meaningful way and being ready to question traditional approaches: these key principles underlie all the work that we do.

Cultivate a pro-social workplace

How we work together matters. We are committed to creating a workplace that embodies our mission, vision and values. We put this commitment into practice by interacting with respect and empathy and by responding rather than by reacting.

We firmly believe that innovating in a complex health care environment is best achieved by:

  • engaging rather than dividing,

  • co-creating rather than imposing and

  • inspiring everyone to become their best self.

Compassion is at the heart of what we do but this does not mean being ingenuous and naïve. When required, we can take tough decisions with grace.

OUR FOUNDER

A Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Strasbourg (1991) and resident in Switzerland since 1999, Odile has worked since 1991 with global pharmaceutical and health care companies, including Astra Zeneca, Bausch + Lomb, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Sandoz and Pfizer. Odile’s experience has ranged over clinical research and development (interacting with Swissmedic and the FDA), sales, and marketing (for a period leading a cross-functional team dealing with market research, competitive intelligence, business analytics and commercial assessments). During this time, Odile obtained a postgraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine in Basle (Switzerland) and an Executive MBA (“EMBA”) from the William E. Simon School University of Rochester (USA).

Since 2015, Odile has also been teaching in health care at HEC Lausanne (the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne). She lectures on health care modules of the EMBA programme and of other executive education modules, and coaches and evaluates EMBA students in individual strategic consulting projects.

Odile has always had an interest in mind-body interaction.  Odile is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (“NLP”) Master Practitioner, was trained in mindfulness (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, “MBSR”) at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health care and Society (part of the University of Medicine in Massachusetts (USA)), holds a Master’s degree in Medicine, Meditation and Neuroscience from the University of Strasbourg (France) and was admitted to the MBSR-Verband Schweiz in 2019. She teaches mindfulness at HEC Lausanne as part of the EMBA curriculum and of the Management and Leadership Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) programme.

What sets Odile apart is her unique combination of skills, knowledge, interests and experience in pharmaceuticals, health care and mind/body relationships that she brings to her consulting and teaching projects and tasks.

TESTIMONIALS

At HEC Lausanne we have decided to include mindfulness training in our executive MBA program. Odile is offering this training for us and her ability to mix her own mindfulness practice with a scientific presentation of the impact of mindfulness has been a great success. We offer this as an elective option within an already intense schedule but Odile always succeeds in convincing and inspiring almost the whole class to participate. I would not know a better person than Odile for guiding this challenging inward journey.
— Guido Palazzo, Professor of Business Ethics at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne, Switzerland
Mindfulness helped me to refocus on the essential, be it handling difficult situations in professional life, mastering stressful situations at university, or being aware of the importance of my own wellbeing.
— 2016/2017 EMBA participant
As external consultants, Odile and I supported a top 10 Pharmaceutical company shape their wellbeing strategy – a big challenge in the middle of a restructuring effort. Odile showed great strategic insights that helped the client bring together the elements of a comprehensive employee wellbeing program. Her acute perception of the company’s evolving culture and mindfulness expertise were key in developing an internal communication platform for the program that resonated well with the audience. I particularly appreciate Odile’s sharp analytical skills, strategic vision and her ability to communicate her views persuasively and empathically within our team and with the client.
— Eric Gillain Co-Founder and Managing Partner Axxelis Team AG, Baar, Switzerland
I followed the “Mindfulness” module as part of the first edition of the “Certificate of Advanced Studies Management & Leadership” organized jointly by the Executive Education HEC Lausanne and EPFL. Being by nature a rational person, I was very attracted by the whole CAS program but I was sceptical regarding the “Mindfulness” module. I approached this workshop with suspicion and left after two hours, absolutely convinced, even converted! Better, there was clearly a before and an after. I have since then been exploring regularly the practice of meditation and its benefits for my health and my relationships with others. From the outset, Odile appeared soothing, naturally convincing and generous in the way she shared her expertise and vast knowledge. Thanks to a program focused on the management of stress and the effects of meditation, combining rich academic theory, useful references and well-chosen practical exercises, Odile managed to hold the rapt attention of the 15 diverse participants. This training has given me a tool that I was not aware of and which is very useful to me in helping me to better cope with inevitable professional and personal challenges. Bravo and thank you Odile, don’t change anything, it’s all perfect!
— Alexandre Grange, HR Business Partner
Odile has a very open and expansive way of analyzing situations.  She scans the landscape to uncover the spectrum of factors before digging to focus on relevant issues.  Her varied background in science, marketing, and meditation enhances her abilities in building solid recommendations for business challenges.
— Nora Cashion, VP Business Insights, Databiology, USA
Odile has a rare blend of intellectual rigor and deep commitment to revisit the status quo when needed.  She has a strong scientific background that does not limit her to existing paradigms but also encourages her to boldly present alternative approaches when people most need them.
— Carl Lemieux, Psychologist, MBA Managing Partner Workplace Wellbeing, Mindspace, Canada
I worked with Odile on a special and challenging eBusiness project reporting directly to the Novartis Pharma CEO under huge time constraint. Odile showed imagination, creativity and drive in finding solutions to complex problems. It was a pleasure to work with her.
— Brice Suire, Managing Director InnovVentures Partners GmbH, Basel, Switzerland
Having known Odile for some time, I decided to take part in her remote mindfulness course only because Odile would be leading it. I am naturally skeptical of techniques such as meditation or hypnosis. However, Odile’s career path and her rational scientific background completely reassured me. During the course, I particularly appreciated how responsive she was and how she was able to put herself in the shoes of the various participants. Odile included in the course occasional science-based explanations on the functioning of the brain, which I found fascinating. Odile also helped us to understand key concepts that would help us to pursue our self-awareness on our own.
For me, meditation is far from intuitive. However, as far as I can, I continue to use what I learned from this course to connect to myself and to my surroundings and to be present in the present moment.
The strength of Odile’s course is the connection that she establishes between Science and Meditation and her explanation of the links between the brain, what we feel, and what we can do to deal with our emotions.
— Christelle Meunier, Paris, France
For the past four years, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Odile at HEC Lausanne, where we have been acting both as lecturers and as experts in the EMBA health care marketing and strategy module. Odile is a top-level professional in market analyses, business intelligence and strategy and, more importantly, a great personality to work with!
